I didn't goto class today, no special reason other than I simply didn't want to spend 4 hours commuting for a 50 minute class. But i'm doing well in the class so I'm not too worried.
I am worried however on this unity debacle. Unity recently made some changes to their license and a lot of game devs and big indie studios that use unity are jumping ship. And while I'm currently using it for my big game, I think it's early in the production for me to switch to godot. But then I have to spend a lot of time learning godot. And if I do use godot I want to use the rust bindings, because gdscript aint all that. I've attempted unreal engine, but my god it seems even harder to learn. Blueprints are cool but I want finer control so I opted for c++, but I forgot most of the shit I learned about c++. I might be sticking with unity, and I don't even know if I'm going to continue to build my big game, because there are a lot of features I have to implement. I might try to create a quick simple horror game using this project acoustic package by microsoft that has this really cool ray traced audio gimmick. I think it'll elevate the atmosphere for a horror game.
Anyways, that's all for today, I'll see you tomorrow!
